This is a wonderful portrait - at the same sensual and innocent, wondering and wise - you have a knack for getting your models to give just the right expression at just the right time. The direct gaze of the eyes, the parted lips, the dry stalks in front of the face all make this portait, well, magnetic. I'm (almost) speechless ...

i hope you don't mind my opinion...i was just thinking that, while this is a beautiful picture, you've taken a lot just like it. close up of a face, shocking eyes, plants/flowers...just an observation.
i don't really feel qualified to give you advice because i think your work is so much better than mine, so feel free to ignore this but i just wanted to say... don't get stuck in a rut and keep taking the same pictures because that's what you're good at. maybe try stepping out of the box, try something new...
anyway, i do love your work, just a thought that popped into my head.
While I am well aware of this as I'm my own worst critic and nothing is ever good enough. Take note that everything I submit and that people like is not every thing I shoot it just happens to be they are the better photos, I have been working on different shots not focused on the eyes or close up for a while so I'm not blind to the fact that I'm being repetitive. This is also an old photo and I am also in a big rut right now Thanks for the honesty and I am well aware
Mmmm... dreamy Somehow, I get a vibe of warm air shimmering accross your face.
But as the scenery grows, I see in different lights The shades and shadows undulate in my perception My feelings swell and stretch; I see from greater heights I understand what I am still too proud to mention - to you -- Fiona Apple - Never is a promise
